Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, a reported target for Premier League duo Manchester United and Liverpool, is stated to want to leave the Spanish capital for a move to English football by his agent Ahmet Bulut.
The Turkish international has enjoyed years of success with Atletico since his transfer to the club in 2011 from Galatasaray, winning the La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Europa League, whilst also reaching the Champions League final.
However, Bulut says the 28-year-old now wants to leave Atletico and the Premier League is his preferred destination, although he mentioned interest from Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan.
“He intends to leave Spain this summer. It is his will to go out to play in the Premiership, that is where he would like to continue his career at this time,”
“His departure from Atletico is not easy because he has a clause of €41 million. There are ongoing talks with three teams at the moment. I cannot say their names, but they are the best of England and European football.”
“It’s true, Milan and PSG are two of the six teams that are interested in him. But the Italian team does not go into our options because it does not play the Champions League,”
“PSG is a possibility, but he has always had a burning desire to prove himself in England.”
Turan has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Liverpool this summer, whilst Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for the Turkish ace.
