Brendan Rodgers is hotting up on the chase for two players at his former club, Swansea City. Rodgers, in the week, expressed his interest in bringing Ben Davies to Anfield to slot into his defense, and new reports coming from Anfield insist Rodgers is also chasing Swansea and Ivory Coast forward, Wilfried Bony.
Swansea have declared they have had no official communication from Liverpool, but it is reported that the Reds are keen on bringing the pair to Anfield.
However, it is understood that Alberto Moreno remains Rodgers’s No.1 target, with Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand being his preferred option at the back, a player he tried to sign when he was in charge at Swansea.
With Spurs monitoring Davies, it is thought they will turn their interest into a formal bid to bring the Welshman to White Hart Lane next season.
