Another weekend of football kicks off of on Tipstrr this evening as Premier League hopefuls Aston Villa welcome Leeds United. In retrospect, it looks a little bit like Paul Heckingbottom has done nothing to stabilize what was already stable enough. The hope was that Leeds could give themselves a refreshed chance of a playoff push, but instead the Whites failure to keep pace with the top eight has highlighted weaknesses.
Aston Villa won’t have been happy to become the biggest ever Championship spenders and still lack the ruthlessness and quality needed to make it back to the Premier League, but they’ve found their stride in 2018. The Villains could guarantee fourth spot at least with a victory this evening, and given how Leeds continue to fold after conceding, and so the general consensus here is Over 2.5 goals. You can find more preview and tips for Aston Villa vs Leeds United here.
In the Premier League tomorrow, Sean Dyche’s Burnley will hope to continue their terrific season when they host Leicester. You might be thinking that a tight game is in order here, but that isn’t the way these teams are trending. Leicester have seen at least two goals scored in their last six games, whilst Burnley have found their shooting boots. The Clarets have everything to play for and there’s no use being passive when European football could await. Save The Punter thinks Over 2 goals (asian line) is the call here.
Liverpool vs Bournemouth is a fixture that has produced heaps of drama and excitement in recent seasons. Bournemouth were beaten 4-0 earlier in the season, but to say they have revenge on their minds is to probably exaggerate their ambitions here. Liverpool are walking through teams at the moment. Bournemouth find themselves 10 points clear of the drop zone, which does at least give them licence to play without fear.
Liverpool’s success in the Champions League was a big achievement and it was an emotional night for the club. There’s no telling exactly what mindset the players are in here, so a walkover is far from a given. Tips are now rolling in for the televised game and you can view them here.
Manchester United’s season rests on FA cup success now, whilst any fight put up by West Brom should prove futile. There’s still something not quite right with Mourinho’s men and Pogba’s assist statistics and moments of flare are not enough to hide his failure to do enough. Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, the two others you’d expect to be United’s driving force, have also come in for criticism.
You could criticise just about everyone on the West Brom team for lack of quality, albeit they do appear to be trying week in, week out. Their demeanour suggested a few weeks ago that they were a beaten side though. Tipster European Football Tips thinks Manchester United will have enough to pull away, covering the -1.5 asian handicap.
