Real Madrid are eying Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny this summer, as they look for potential replacements to fill the void of Manchester United target Sergio Ramos.
Ramos is flirting with a move to the Premier League and Real Madrid are keen to ensure they have a world-class replacement lined-up if they are to lose their long-serving defender, with reports stating Koscielny is their man.
French international Koscielny has developed into one of the best defenders in European football since is move to North London in 2010 and has become a key-part of the Arsenal side that have won back-to-back FA Cup’s.
Therefore, Arsenal are not willing to negotiate on their star-man and the reported price of £21m will be seen as insulting by the Gunners, who rate Koscielny as much more valuable- especially considering the fee Paris Saint-Germain spent on David Luiz last summer.
However, any price is unlikely to be welcomed by Arsenal as Arsene Wenger has stated that the club has no need to sell their star-players anymore.
