Easter brings about a wonderful fixture list where fans are treated to a double helping of Football League action. It’s a four day weekend where Wolves could be mathematically promoted, Sunderland and several others could realise their fate, including West Brom in the Premier League, and everyone gets to stuff their face with chocolate. All that’s missing is a few winning bets from Tipstrr.
It’s an important weekend for Preston. Alex Neil’s men could find themselves anywhere from four points inside the playoffs to eight points and a big goal difference outside of it come Monday evening. Their form is good with one loss in 10 games and three wins in their last four. Tipster Break The Bank thinks they offer value this weekend to win at least once, so he’s backed them in both games. You can view a free match preview here.
Leeds United find themselves in an unwanted position in the League Table. Whilst they won’t go down, and likely neither should Friday’s opponents Bolton, the season is over. Leeds were briefly top of the league and looked full of goals under Christensen, and Paul Heckingbottom has yet to address the issues that followed. Tipster Harrington Street Football thinks they will at least concede against Bolton and has a juicy four-fold right here.
The race for the play-offs is hotting up in League One. Just prior to Christmas, Plymouth visited Bristol Rovers. They lost that game 2-1 and were well adrift at the foot of the table. They now occupy a playoff place with the Gas several points behind them. Bury visit the Mem today and whilst they’re scrapping, it’s a big gap to make up. Bristol Rovers still have an outside chance of the playoffs and EFL Advisory says that they’ll win!
We shouldn’t forget that the Premier League makes a return this weekend. Eight days from now Man City could be crowned Champions, whilst the Baggies are desperate to avoid a 13+ point gap opening up at the bottom. They’ll host Burnley which is no easy fixture. Of the six match tips shared on Tipstrr so far, the consensus is overwhelmingly in the Clarets favour. Five tipsters believe that Burnley are the right choice on the asian handicap.
The showpiece event takes place at 4pm on Sunday afternoon. Chelsea welcome Tottenham to Stamford Bridge in a must win game for the Blues. Chelsea should be guaranteed at least fifth at this point, but lose here and they could find themselves eight points outside the Champions League places. Pepes Footie Picks thinks both sides will go for it here and has identified both teams to score: Yes as the pick.
